On October 1st, 1960, he married Frances Horgan, a loving union of 58 years, at St. Francis deSales Church in Utica, NY.
Bruce was well respected and liked as he related well to all those he came in contact with. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He was happiest when he and his son spent time together at their camp in the town of Ohio.

He was predeceased by brothers Robert and Louis William Brockett and sisters Barbara Brockett and Betty (Carl) Townsend.
At Bruce’s request there are no public visiting hours. Private funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
The family extends a special thank you to the Hospice team who showed such kindness and compassion to Bruce and his family.
Also a special thanks is extended to the Bassett Hospital staff including Dr. James Dalton who Bruce highly respected and enjoyed talking with.
